David Adkins Well, my mom told me, of course, November 19, 1961. If you go in the front, turn left next to the last room. On the left is where I was born. She spent a good deal of time out in the hall. Said it was very cold that November day, and at one point she thought she was going to freeze to death. She said at one point Doctor Urquhart come down the hall and was like, “What’s going on with that moon?” It was apparently very busy. A lot of women having babies close to the same time. But about 9:30 in the morning, I was born here in this old Higgins Clinic. 

Shyanne Bellamy Awesome. Yeah. Were you an only child, or did you have siblings? 

David Adkins  No. I’m one of four. Yeah. Yeah. 

Shyanne Bellamy One of four. And then you were raised here, or? 

Chrissy Adkins  Yeah well, not here. I didn’t know this area until I met him, and we’ve been married 42 years now. So, yeah. So I’ve become a lot in this community.
