My grandfather and his brother come to the United States from Norway; in 1916, they purchased land north of Rushville, close to the South Dakota border. It’s hills and trees, and it’s the most wonderful place to be. You can be by yourself. I had four older brothers and a sister, and they were a lot older than me. So I had to learn to entertain myself, which I did with my dog and my horse. And just, just being, I don’t— just being free out in the wide open spaces. We’ve had the farm ranch for 110 years in the family now. Oh, I love the — two nights ago the sky was so gorgeous with stars. I just love the wide open spaces.
