When we were in high school in the ’70s, there was an establishment on the edge of town that was a bowling alley, a lounge, and a restaurant, and all of us kids worked there, and we had more fun because we— that’s where everybody went. There was a big flip we called it, you know, when you drove around town, which people did in the 70s, back and around and around through the town, and then the stopping point would be the Food Bowl. So you could be at work and getting paid and waiting on people and still see all your friends. And yeah, we worked there for years as long since we were old enough to work until we went away to school. We all worked there.
