Charlotte Huskins I’d get up, go out, feed the chickens, gather the eggs. When I got a little bit older, my mom taught me how to milk a cow.

Shyanne Bellamy  What was that experience like?

Charlotte Huskins  Well, it’s kind of fun. I mean, you know, and I actually when I got older and got a cow of my own, I taught my daughter how to do that. So me and her, we both know how to milk cows. We’re about the only ones in the family that do!

Tonya Huskins  And even after she got married, she could still run a mule team.

Charlotte Huskins  And horses just love me. I’ve just had a rapport with animals.
