Well, I’ve been a big supporter and-and. Advocate of Sandhills Institute. I know Mel and his wife Lisa, and it’s just it’s just fun to be involved in some of the things they’re doing and just support the community. I was mayor of Rushville at one time, and so I–I still like to support and- and contribute to what goes on in town, and I think it’s important to be involved in with what’s going on. So.

How long were you mayor?

14 years. I was I-I think I was mayor when I was 28 or 29 until I was in my early 40s, and then I decided it was somebody else’s turn to do it.So, but I’m still involved in things as best I can be.

Awesome. And so, did this event make-seeing this feel like you’re headed in the right direction?

It gives you a sense of community pride, without a doubt. So, hopefully, a lot of other people feel the same way.
