Desert Art Lab’s gathering is part of a decade-long desert revitalization project. Beginning in summer 2026, Desert Art Lab will prepare for their assembly by planting, tending, harvesting, preserving, learning, and cooking with place-based ingredients. Grounded in a community-investment model, the year-long process will culminate in a communal meal at Desert Art Lab’s field site.
